Common questions
- 01How does Leaf work out my plan?
- From your reading speed, the minutes you read each day and your reading days, Leaf works through your Reading and Up next shelves day by day. That gives today’s pages and a finish date for every book. Change any of these and the plan reflows.
- 02My reading speed looks wrong.
- In Settings, tap Retake the reading test. Every session you finish also refines it.
- 03Do I need an account?
- No. Leaf has no accounts and no sign-in. Your library lives on your iPhone and, while iCloud is on for Leaf, in your own private iCloud.
- 04How do I move my library to a new iPhone?
- Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on, and your library syncs to the new iPhone.
- 05The Apple Watch app shows nothing.
- Open Leaf on your iPhone once with the watch nearby so the two can pair up.
- 06A book is missing or has the wrong page count.
- Add it by hand from Search, or open the book and edit its page count. Book data comes from Open Library.
- 07Who can see a reading circle I share?
- Only the people invited to it. Circles are shared through iCloud. Whoever starts a circle, and anyone they make an admin, can invite people, take people out or delete the circle for everyone, and everyone else can leave it from the bottom of its page.
- 08How do I delete my data?
- Settings › Erase all data. See the privacy policy for what that covers.
